At Song Saa they strive to embrace the Buddhist tradition of ‘Metta Bhavana’ or loving kindness. Inspired by the Buddhist principal of reverence for all beings and the aim to follow the tradition of offering blessings for others. The Island’s spa – The Song Saa Sanctuaries – the committment is to use sustainable and natural products from artisanal producers that also benefit local communities either here in Cambodia or other parts of the world. The culinary practice is proudly based on locally sourced ingredients: seasonal fruits and vegetables, wildlife-friendly Ibis rice from farmers in the North, fleshy cashew nuts and meaty coconuts from nearby villages. Then there’s the distinctive favour of Kampot pepper infusing our cuisine with a truly local culinary twist. We’re happy to cater to guests with dietary restrictions and our vegan and vegetarian dishes are some of our tastiest.
